Hi

Im really having trouble with my idling AFR.... i can set the VE table so that it idle`s at 14AFR... then when i start and stop the car a few times.. or the next day it will be very rich... then i knock off a few points... then its to lean... and back and forth... Even if i drive the car hard then it will change idle afr`s.. Confused Confused

I have the DR0 set at 3%.... weather is around 10 - 15C...

Help!

Asim

I had a similar problem - it turned out to be that my Min Injector On-Time (MIOT) was set too low. The problem was that even though the injectors were responding to the small pulsewidths, it appears that the spray wasn't consistent. I ended up having to set my MIOT up to ~1.45 mS or so before the problem subsided, which is much higher than I would have guessed it needed to be.

What injectors are you using (flow, impedance) and what is your injector pulsewidth at idle when you are seeing erratic mixtures?
