I'm not sure who else is doing this, but I've been able to implement boost control with my turbo BMW 4 cylinder. It features a switch to select running off the spring, GPO1 or GPO2 with eaching mapping a different boost level. It also allows you to run off GPO1 and press a momentary switch (push button) on the wheel and to switch to GPO2. It's been dyno tuned and we expect to get to the track in the next few weeks to verify it operates smoothly.

I ended up using the AEM boost control solenoid, which works like a charm.
