New member and user of the Electromotive brand here. I will be getting a Tech GT up and running with some professional help in the next few weeks. I finally got sick of trying to get my 1.8T running properly with a DTA E48 ecu. A good friend of mine that tunes and distributes Electromotive has been telling me from the beginning to stop wasting my time. You can lead a horse to water so to speak. And I'm a mule!!!!
Anyways. Good to see there is a forum here. Many thanks to the admins and originators for such a useful discussion group.

Well after much ado we got the car running today. So far I'm very pleased. Aside from the wait which was partly my fault for having to work some long hours and saying "take your time".
Quite amazing really. The car fired and ran on the first crank. Not perfect but it actually started better cold than the previous ECU after a year of playing with it. I am a convert.
Just in time for the first snowfall. She's no trailer queen but I'll be damned if I'm going to drive it on salted roadways Going to work out all the little details tommorow.
Big thanks to Steve for staying up till 5:30am with me the other day answering all my questions as we wired her up. Brilliant.

The one and uniquely only I got to know him through a very good mutual friend a few years ago and he has become one of a very small list of people that I would let work on my car ............ unattended

Looks great (from the small avatar pic). I'm also a Tec user with a 20v, though I've still not gotten mine together.
