|

Kind of random but somewhat useful idea I had....
Is there any way to set up an instaneous MPG gauge on the dashboard for the TEC3r? I have a speed sensor in my trans, and seeing it shows the fuel useage (in liters/hour) I'm sure it could be converted. I manually did this today by noting the fuel rate at a specific speed, but I figured it would be a good way to pin down the most efficient highway speed.
It sounds like it would be something that would require programming of the wintec itself, which I probably wouldn't be able to do. Any ideas?

I have wondered about this also. Even if it was just a readout of the fuel being used it would give you an indication of the most economical speed or gear to use when traveling cross country.

If I remember correctly it reads out in liters per hour on the monitor screen, over on the left side.
it's kind of a rough guage.
