Hey, all. I'm Matt and I was told about the forum by Heath today.
In the past i've daily driven 400rwhp 2.3t Fords, Mk3 Supras, AWD DSM's, and many others.
I'll give you an idea of what gets me going.

I've always strived to be the underdog, the sleeper, the underestimated.
When others build the SBC, I build boosted 60* V6's. When they build the 302, I build the 2.3.
I haven't thought "inside the box" since I punched my way out in 2004 when I turbocharged/ blow-thru carb'd 225 slant-six Dodge Dart. I realized after that that there is nothing in life I enjoy more than fighting to build what others replace with "canned" combinations.

I could go on endlessly, but i'll get to the point. Here's an insight into what I live for.
I have 4 Volvos, but I'm only posting my current daily driver for today.

Bought this stock and n/a 2 months ago.

Updated engine pictures tomorrow morning.

Mods:
-50trim Garrett (Stage5 turbine, .63A/R hotside, .60A/R coldside) G-Popshop.com's steel 360* thrust bearing
-Ported and flattened 90+ exhaust manifold
-46# CFI injectors
-4bar FPR
-"A" cam timed straight up.

Transmission is a highly modified "turbo" type AW71 with the shift accumulators shimmed fully and the 1-2 + 2-3 check balls removed and their corresponding valve body hole drilled. It's manually shifted with OD locked out until I make my 700-r4 adaptor plate and figure out what else is necessary.

I'm eager to learn from you all.
Matt
